Author's first published book and Vol 1, of the 'Unearthly History' trilogy. The launch of this book followed an incredible hoax which began in October 2003. Following the rejection of his manuscript by all the publishers and agents that he approached, the author commissioned the production of a latex dragon foetus. Having placed it in a glass jar, he contacted his local paper with a story that it was a victorian specimen, with some provenance. The 'discovery' was subsequently reported world wide in the press and on television and caused a considerable stir in the scientific community. This stunt undoubtedly help initial sales when he self-published his book in April 2004. Dustjacket protected in a mylar cover from new and kept in a smoke-free environment.
